Welcome to Asahikawa, Hokkaido!
Upon arrival at Asahikawa Airport, you’ll be greeted by a Kintetsu escort and board the private transfer to Shin Furano Prince Hotel.
You’ll receive your welcome pack on the way to the hotel, including all meal vouchers and ski lift/rental/lesson vouchers. There’ll also be a Q&A session before arriving.
Ski Day 1 – Powder snow and learn to ski

Your 3-day ski/snow experience begins today. A ski field of pristine powder snow awaits!
After breakfast at the hotel, get the family fitted out with ski gear from the rental shop located right in the hotel before starting your adventure.
It starts with a 2-hour private lesson to get up to speed with the basic skiing skills from a licensed English-speaking instructor. After the lesson, and armed with your new skills, it’s time to step out and give it a go on your own!
Ski Day 2 – Explore the slopes and have fun at the snow park

Enjoy day 2 of all-day skiing! Take the Furano Ropeway to the top and enjoy the beautiful mountain vista. Go at your own pace and stick with the beginner slopes to build your confidence.
Head down to Waku-Waku Family Snow Land* at the ski field base to try out some more snow activities. Ride a snow banana boat, snow rafting or snowmobiling. There are a lot of fun activities for the whole family!

Ski Day 3 – Enjoy a soft powder snow the fullest!

Enjoy a full day of skiing on your final day at Furano. Get the most out of it by trying the slopes and sledding at the snow park. In the evening, visit the winter wonderland of Snow Night Fantasy-Furano Kan Kan Mura.* This is a fantasy snow and ice village that features snow and ice sculptures, a snow tubing slide, drinks at an ice café and even night hot air balloon rides! After three huge days of skiing, why not visit the hotel’s hot spring spa* to relax and heal those tired muscles?

Discover Sapporo city and enjoy Hokkaido’s favorite lamb BBQ

After check-out, a Kintets guide will meet you at the hotel, and you’ll head to Sapporo on a 4-hour private transfer. For lunch in Sapporo, you’ll try a Hokkaido favourite, Genghis Khan (lamb BBQ all-youcan-eat).
After lunch, go on a tour of the must-see places in Sapporo. We’ll start at the Sapporo Central Wholesale Outer Market, home to over fifty shops, including fish, meat and veggie shops and restaurants. The displays of fresh crab alone are stunning! From there, visit the historically significant Hokkaido Jingu Shrine that was built over 150 years ago. Cruise by the soaring Sapporo TV Tower and Sapporo Clock Tower from the comfort of the private coach.
From here, you’re free to explore Sapporo for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Try visiting the Ganso Sapporo Ramen Yokocho (Ramen Alley). Warm up with a delicious, steaming bowl of miso ramen using your ramen voucher.
Half day trip to Otaru

After breakfast, we visit the charming port town of Otaru, known for handcrafted glassware and musical boxes. Here you can explore the wonderfully preserved canal that played a vital role in the town’s port history in the 1950s. We will also visit one of Otaru’s museums to get more of an understanding of the history of Otaru and Hokkaido.
Before returning to Sapporo, we’ll first enjoy sushi for lunch with fish sourced directly from the Otaru fish market.
Back at Sapporo where we visit a ninja studio. Transform yourself into a ninja by learning their secrets. Learn how to wield throwing stars, silent-walk like a ninja and even blow a blowpipe!
You are free to enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at your leisure. A great place to explore is the 1-kilometre-long roofed Tanukikoji Shopping Street lined with over 200 shops, eateries and karaoke bars!
Return to New Chitose Airport
